Reflecting Moments

In often times, I find it hard for my mind to completely be still. It just seems so hard for me to take the time to simply center and focus. I have started trying to change that by meditating every morning. I must admit I am an early bird. I just love mornings so I think naturally I love being up early in the morning when the sun is rising and starts to shine fiercely.  The early morning meditation allows me to start my day centered and focused with a clear mind and with purpose. I try to focus on what I want to achieve and I'm always hoping for a positive day. Good Vibes Only right? ,That's all a girl could really wish for. But oh of course what would a day be without a little drama right?

The point and purpose at hand is to find a way to accept what the day brings. I want to be prepared to not only deal with the days' challenges but let them roll off my shoulders too. Taking the time to be vulnerable and keep it real it with myself. Crystals, sage and incense are a MUST. I honestly don't go a day without them in general so of course when I'm meditating I have them handy.

Journal writing has kind of always been an obsession of mine. I would either go in bookstores and buy the most mystical looking one on the shelf or create them with torn pages from fashion magazines and cool posters and pictures. I think its important to write things down because whether you believe it or not words do have meaning. Use a journal as a tool to have a story of your life and experiences; or simply use it to write down all the thoughts you have in your head . Then boom there it is. All the crazy intellectual thoughts you've been dying to say out loud are staring you right back in the face. The moment when you can be honest with only you.
