In honor of one of my favorite holidays I decided that on one of my recent trips home I would shoot in the Afton Villa Gardens. This garden is tucked away about 30 min outside of Baton Rouge and I’ll admit I’ve been here several times. The landscape and overall vibe is breathtaking. Standing out in the openness of huge trees and Spanish moss just softly moving through the southern breeze really make me feel free. My purpose for sharing this post goes beyond my love for nature but more into the realm of my love for the world of mythical creatures and spooky folktales.
