Leaving Summer In Style
Well, its the last big holiday of summer and what better way to spend it than in the pool. I live for the pool in the summer. Its the time when me and my friends are always grilling, making fun cocktails and catching the vibes of the music and sun. Surprisingly enough this seems to be a yearly tradition. Every year we get amped up for that sunny season of great energy and being at the pool all day. This seasons top picks goes to my day party experience with Ms. Nelliboo and our friend Rah's pool birthday kickback. It was just one of those days when everything is spontaneous, you don't know how the day is going to go but so far hour by hour the day continues to bring more vibrant energy and just banging vibes. Ya'll know exactly the type of vibe I'm talking about. When you and your friends look at each other and can't contain your excitment because the night is epically LIT.
Be sure to personalize your swim looks by adding accessory additions that make your look chic and most of all your flare. I love a good sleek but sexy look and this one piece black Kenneth Cole Reaction swimsuit with cut outs all the way down is definitely my style. The vintage cigar box that has been made into a purse comes from no other than the "Latina Iris" herself Vanessa.
Time to talk about my favorite topic, FASHION!!! One huge trend I've noticed over the last two years is the way swimwear has evolved. At first swim went straight naked, all the new swimsuits were mesh and see through and just extra skimpy. Which is not appealing to me , of course I want something cute and fun but I want all my girl parts to be able to breathe and not die of being smushed either. The I noticed swimwear became kind of ready to wear like. I'm assuming that idea came out like lets hey let make transitional items you can wear to a day party and the swimming pool but I'm not into long sleeve swim items. I mean I'm swimming in a pool in Texas not Iceland, too hot for all that.
I love this peachy Giani Bini cap sleeve two piece swimsuit. It came with a matching bottom but it has a high waisted vintage bottom and I decided to go with a simple ruffle bikini instead to make it more modern. Fun accessories that are stylish for the pool but aren't too much can help make a fashion splash. I opted for some fun tropical bangles, oversized bobby pins and a golden body chain.
I hope everyone enjoys their holiday today. Make a splash and lets go into Fall with a bang. Spend some time meditating and focusing on how the seasonal change will impact your life. I plan to eat tons of tacos , get my tan on by the pool and drinking lots of Tequila. But mostly I just want to reflect on my life changes , I just got a new promotion at work which I will share soon and focus on how I can be a better person, how I can continue to bloom and grow. Be easy people and GOOD VIBES ONLY!!!
