Labor Day Weekend
Happy labor day weekend everyone. I'm super happy to say that my weekend has been good to me so far. I love when your Friday is really epic but you don't go overboard so you have energy for the rest of the weekend. Last night I went to dinner with my friend Nelli at Eddie V's for restaurant week. I must say I've done a lot of fine dining in Dallas and I wasn't super crazy about this place. It was cool but it wasn't amazing like some other places I have been before. Not a bad experience but just not for me. After dinner we went to the Statler downtown which I love. The hotel has several bars and I really nice view of the city with a great ambience. I'll being doing a staycation blog post for them soon, make sure you tune in for that. There is also an LSU game going on and tons of people are in town from heauxm which is fun. Nice to see some familiarity around for a change.
Since it's a holiday why not show a little spirit right? I decided to pop on this wrap bandana crop shirt to add in a little color and pair with a classic denim skirt and comfy heels. Having a a few classic denim pieces in your wardrobe will alway come in handy. No matter if it's the jacket, overalls, favorite flare bells, or skirt. Each piece is a must if you ask me. My purse is one that my Mom gave me. It belonged to my Auntie Donna , who I miss dearly. I remember growing up and seeing this bag on many occasions. Its a classic vintage Coach bag. Never goes out of style and still my vibe of mixing the old with the new.
