Transitions

Transitional moments happen in many situations of life. Seasons, wardrobe, lifestyles , and the list goes on. Recently in the late Spring , I'm happy to announce my husband and I purchased our first house. This is our first home together and really since we have gotten married our love has really grown further and deeper into a spiritual compainionship. On this expedition of home shopping, I'm at the plant store and one of my favorites in Dallas, Rubial's. It has a great view of the city and a local market center nearby with different vendors and restaurants. I have been slow decoratibg our home with bits and pieces of both our vibes . One way to add vibrant color and even cleanse the air is by adding live plants to your home area. With a strong love for nature and earthy tones , adding plants is going  to play a key factor in my home decor.  Now that I have the plants , as I was shopping I was like oh , I need to get the pots too. Just one extra design element that will help with a pop of color. 

Here a few in the progress photos of the beginning stages of our home building process. It made me so happy to see how proud Cullen was when he would walk through the house. Inspected every little nook and cranny.  I could tell he felt happy for us but even to be able share this new milestone together. For sure soon I will do a MTV cribs style home tour for everyone to see the new crib. I can't wait to share this experience with all my readers and welcome you into our new place.

As I transition through all sorts of life changes and new adjustments this wardrobe has to as well. Right now the weather is like its wants to be cool but can't help but be hot. Lots of rain and evenings in the mid 80's I won't complain about. Be sure to find items that can be used in the true Fall season and can be styled or layered in other ways. I could see myself wearing this with some cool socks, boots and a funky handbag to add some flare. The season of layering is almost here and I can't contain myself. The slide on basket weave mules went perfect with my earth tones. My friends will sometimes be like if you where another brown shoe or neutral color we will kill you but I like what I like. I can't help that I gravitate towards things that are different but slightly resemble each other in nature. This wrap dress even has thick material so it's definitely is a transitional piece but only in the early Fall. 

I hope everyone is as excited for all the new transitions you have headed your way. As I've realized life is forever changing, something is always coming up and giving us a reason to never take a day for granted. Be happy with the transitions and movements of your life. The next day isn't promised so its important to really move on those dreams and aspirations. This chapter of my life and marriage has been very exciting and I can't wait to see whats in store next.
